Why Freeze Propolis?

Fresh propolis is extremely sticky, making it difficult to remove from collection mats. Freezing changes its physical properties, making it brittle rather than sticky. Once frozen, the mat can be gently flexed, allowing the propolis to break away cleanly.

This simple but effective technique helps produce cleaner raw propolis while reducing contamination from unwanted debris.
